Almond When is the wedding?: September 17th, 2011 Where will the wedding take place?: Woodway Country Club in Darien CT Dream wedding dress designer: Oscar de la Renta How did you meet?: My friend invited me out to his share house in East Hampton and Chris was one of his housemates.  We spent the first part of the night together, but due to circumstances out of our control we went our separate ways and didn’t spend time with each other until the following day. How did he propose? Chris and I went to my beach house one weekend in Connecticut when no one else was out there.   While we were laying out I suggested we go for a walk.  We walked to the Audubon society that is nearby and walked up the spiral staircase to get to the top of a lookout tower.  When I got to the top I looked over and there was an entire table spread of a cheese/bread plate, strawberries, champagne on ice and red roses. Before I could even say anything I turned around and he was on one knee.  I couldn’t believe it!  What a romantic…   When did you know he was “the one”: It was when I took him to meet my family for the first time at my beach house.  We walked up to that same lookout tower, sat on rocking chairs and just talked.   I knew I didn’t want to be with anyone else for the rest of my life.
